Carbon footprint

Our commitments to a minimal carbon footprint

NOLT is committed to developing a responsible economic activity, with respect for the environment, people and the values of sport at the heart of its business model. This commitment translates into a 100% eco-responsible and circular offer, from the design of sportswear from recycled polyester to the collection and recycling of used equipment, in order to give it a second life or transform it into new products. The ethics of NOLT deontology guides the behavior and decisions of its employees, partners and stakeholders, ensuring consistency between the actions taken and the values upheld by the brand. By promoting transparency, inclusiveness and responsible innovation, NOLT aims to make a more responsible and committed approach to sport accessible and desirable.

YOUR BIKINI LINE'S COMPLETE CYCLE

  • Raw material

  • Knitting

  • Manufacturing

  • Packaging

  • Recycling

Raw material

Waste materials such as plastic bottles and other components are recycled. They are sorted, granulated and then transformed into recycled polyester yarn.

Knitting

The recycled yarn is knitted into stitches suitable for the various sports offered by NOLT. Our partners for this stage are located mainly in Italy, Spain and Portugal.

Manufacturing

Most of our garments are made in Europe, notably in Portugal, Bulgaria and Italy, in workshops selected for their expertise and their ethical and environmental commitments. (Some highly technical pieces are made outside Europe). Each piece is hand-sewn by experienced seamstresses and dressmakers. Our workshops hold certifications such as GRS, ISO 9001, OEKO-TEX and Higg Index, testifying to their respect for social, environmental and quality standards.

Packaging

We favor recycled and recyclable packaging and avoid over-packaging our products. We favor a minimalist and responsible approach, in line with our commitment.

Recycling

At the end of their life, your NOLT jerseys can be returned to us to be recycled, thus completing the Maillot Infini loop. They are sorted and then recycled again to become raw materials. This process is carried out by our partners in France and Europe.

Do the right thing for the planet 🌍

Less carbon, more positive impact ⚡️

Would you like to equip your team with personalized, eco-friendly soccer shirts? NOLT makes it possible!

Each item offers a unique design, responsibly engineered and manufactured while emitting less CO₂ than an equivalent standard jersey on the market.

What does this mean in practical terms?
For an order of 10 Football Fire shirts, you save 111 kg CO₂e compared with an average product on the market.

And since 111 kg of CO₂ isn't always easy to imagine, we've translated this saving into concrete, everyday equivalents.

👉 Here's what your choice represents in terms of emissions avoided:

Le Maillot infini

collection & recycling

At NOLTwe create recycled and recyclable sportswear. With Le Maillot Infini, we're taking it a step further by creating a truly closed loop! The principle is simple: we collect old polyester or polyester/elastane sports shirts, sort them and then chemically recycle them to extract a high-quality raw material.

This recycled raw material is then transformed into new yarn, used to knit and make new sports jerseys, ad infinitum.
NOLT aims to limit the use of virgin resources and the production of waste.

Our commitments

What we do
what's in progress
what we dream of doing

Recycled materials.
We use recycled polyester and other recycled materials as well as organic cotton for ALL our products.

Environmental impact.
We are working to relocate part of our production. By promoting short circuits, we are gradually reducing our impact.

An equipment rental system:
To limit overproduction, encourage more responsible use and democratize our Maillot Infini initiative.

Eco-design: We design our products so that they can be reclaimed and/or recycled at the end of their life cycle.

Collections of old sports shirts:
We organize collections with clubs and partners to recover used textiles for recycling.

Develop intelligent textile identification technology: To trace each garment from manufacture to recycling.

Zero disposable plastic:
We use recycled or biodegradable plastic for our packaging and favor minimalist packaging.

The Maillot Infini project:
An innovative and ambitious project to recycle used jerseys into new ones, ad infinitum.

-

Committed workshops:
All our production facilities comply with social and environmental standards.

Calculating the carbon footprint of our products:
To measure, understand and better reduce our impact at every stage.

Our paradoxes

BUT it's recycled polyester, made from recycled plastic waste. Today, it's the best technical and recyclable option for high-performance sportswear. And we're constantly on the lookout for even greener or closed-loop alternatives.
BUT the majority of our products are made in Europe. To be totally transparent, 92% of our products are made in Europe and only 8% are made outside Europe. Some technical equipment, such as jackets and down jackets, are not made in Europe because they require know-how or materials that are only available in Europe at prices that are too high.
We work with partners we know, who visit us regularly and who share our social, environmental and ethical standards.
BUT we work with our workshops to recycle all our offcuts to create our sportNOLT cups.
BUT we measure it product by product, take action to reduce it, and undertake to publish our results.
BUT we document, we measure, we adjust, we rework, and above all, we tell you everything.
Our commitments also lie in our transparency, listening to our customers and partners and telling the truth, even when it's complex, so that we can always improve.
