Collection and recycling: Le Maillot Infini, a circular innovation.

At NOLTwe create recycled and recyclable sportswear. With Le Maillot Infini, we're taking it a step further by creating a truly closed loop! The principle is simple: we collect old polyester or polyester/elastane sports shirts, sort them and then chemically recycle them to extract a high-quality raw material.

This recycled raw material is then transformed into new yarn, used to knit and make new sports jerseys, ad infinitum. NOLT aims to limit the use of virgin resources and the production of waste.

How to get involved

Fill in the form to send us your jerseys for recycling:

FAQ Collection - Le Maillot Infini

Clean, dry polyester or polyester/elastane jerseys or sportswear.

No cotton, wool or other natural or synthetic materials. Don't forget to check the label inside your clothes!

Why?
If they're not polyester or polyester/elastane, they can't be recycled and will be excluded from the process. If they are dirty or wet, they risk damaging the other parts collected and complicating the recycling process.

- Zippers, buttons, Velcro
- Thick flockings, linings, padding (small transfers are OK)
- Non-recyclable mixed materials

Why?
These various elements can block recycling machines.

NOLT takes care of transport for the first 50 clubs involved in the collection (who have confirmed their participation following our launch e-mail).
Once you've completed the online form, our team will send you a prepaid return slip for the shipment of your jerseys to be recycled.

Yes, each participating club receives a voucher for a discount of 5 to 20% on our store, proportional to the weight of the returned parcel:

  • 5% for packages weighing less than 5 kg
  • 10% for a package of 5 to 10 kg
  • 15% for a 10 to 15 kg parcel
  • 20% for parcels over 15kg
And that's not all: little surprises will round off this reward for your club's commitment!
The collected shirts are first sent to our sorting partner, who ensures that they meet our criteria.
They are then recycled using an innovative chemical process to extract a 100% recycled raw material.
This material is used to manufacture our future Maillots Infinis: fully recycled, recyclable and traceable shirts designed for true circularity.

maillot infini: How can collecting clothes transform the textile industry?

Collecting used clothing can transform the textile industry by promoting a circular economy where materials are reused rather than thrown away. By recovering and recycling textiles, we significantly reduce waste and the consumption of virgin resources, while limiting the pollution associated with the production of new garments. The process also encourages innovation in recycling and manufacturing, and raises awareness of the importance of sustainability throughout the industry. In this way, collection becomes a concrete lever for making the textile industry more responsible and respectful of the environment.

infinity jersey: what are the benefits for clubs?

Taking part in used jersey collection enables clubs to reduce their environmental impact, enhance their image by making a commitment to the planet, reinforce the ecological education of their members and benefit from recycled and innovative sports equipment. It's also a way of supporting social causes and preparing for regulatory changes, while setting an example for more responsible sport.

What are the environmental benefits of an infinity swimsuit?

Maillot Infini offers numerous benefits for the environment by promoting the infinite recycling of sports textiles, which considerably reduces waste and limits the consumption of virgin raw materials.
