New: responsible sport, the NOLT schedule is here!

"Responsible sport is a real headache. Not at all! Put on your sneakers, and NOLT will show you how.
What do you need to think about if you want to play a "responsible" sport? Clothing? Accessories? Means of transport?
We tell you all about it in this article, with our special plan for an environmentally-friendly field day. Are you ready? We're off!

- 2:00 p.m.: Play a responsible soccer match with friends using a Vista soccer ball.

- VistaVista is a range of footballs and rugby balls, handcrafted in an eco-responsible way by people on social integration schemes. In fact, it takes one hour of work experience to manufacture a Vista ball.

These sports accessories are made from materials such as polyurethane, recycled leather, natural latex and cotton thread and canvas. In fact, 50% of the materials used to manufacture the balls are recycled. As for the place of production, part of the ball is made in Marseille, in the south of France, the other part in Nairobi, Kenya. What's more, if you're a club, it's very practical because you can have them personalized. Last but not least, they comply with international standards.

The little plus: they're repairable, and you can even have them refurbished at Vista once they've reached the end of their life. The key to responsible sport.

- 4:00 pm: read NOLT's latest article on the green collab with Act for sport, for a more responsible sport

- Act for sportAct for sport is an advertising agency that brings together potential sponsors (i.e. companies interested in sponsoring sports clubs) and clubs looking for sponsors. In our case, we worked with Act for Sport as part of a project with Back Market and the agency. In June 2022, Back Market announced its intention to sponsor women's teams with the Back Market Champions League. The company then approached NOLT to supply shirts made from entirely European and recycled raw materials. The Act for sport agency, for its part, carried out a great deal of organizational work, which was successfully completed. To find out more about our collaboration, click here.

- 6:00 pm: buy me a recycled Rebond rugby ball

- Rebond is a brand of responsible sports balls (soccer, rugby and basketball). Here, products are recyclable and comply with international standards. What's more, the materials used are all natural latex, natural inks, recycled or bio-sourced materials, as well as recycled polyester and foam. It's also worth noting that one part of the ball is manufactured in France, while the other is designed in Punjab, a part of the world straddling Pakistan and India. Finally, Rebond participates in the 1% For The Planet program, which means that the brand donates 1% of its sales to at least one environmental association.

- 7:30 p.m.: Carpool with StadiumGo to get to my match sustainably

Want to go to a match but can't afford public transport? Stadium go is the solution for you. Indeed, Stadium Go is a car-sharing platform that enables you to get to matches, thereby reducing your carbon footprint, and therefore that of the event in question. Isn't that great? With this app, you have access to a whole host of sports: soccer, basketball, handball, volleyball, rugby and field hockey. What's more, your car-sharing journeys are rewarded with free parking spaces in your stadiums. That's one heck of a saving! A little plus: if you're a club, Stadium Go even lets you customize the platform to your image (see here the example of AS Monaco with MuneGo). Thanks to the application, you'll also have access to your supporters' data, so you can keep track of their journeys.

- 8:30 p.m.: buy French fries in environmentally-friendly Flycup packaging (from Stade Rennais, for example) for a more responsible sport.

Flycup offers eco-friendly packaging for your supporters if you're a club or event organizer, and for your takeaway customers if you're a restaurant owner

What's special about them is that they allow you to hold your food and drink with one hand only, leaving your other hand free to enjoy the game to the full.

What's more, they're easy to obtain because you can find them at wholesalers like Métro, for example, and buy them at the same time as your corporate groceries if you're a restaurateur.

Finally, the little (big) plus: the packaging can be personalized with the colors of a brand, club or event.

- 9:00 pm: see a club with the Fair Play For Planet label at the stadium (such as Olympique Lyonnais)

- Fair Play For Planet is a label for sports venues, clubs and events wishing to assess their level of eco-responsibility.

In order to obtain this label, various criteria were established, including: environmental criteria (respect for the environment, soil management, cleaning products and stadium life), economic and ecological performance (e.g. transport, food, carbon footprint, purchasing, waste and water management), as well as social criteria (e.g. governance, responsible communication and accessibility).

Please note that FPFP will regularly carry out random audits to check that your organization is complying with the label's criteria.
