Rugby is at the heart of eco-responsible change in sport. Many clubs have a special relationship with NOLT, which offers relevant solutions to the ecological challenges facing the sporting world.
The RCT had entrusted the eco-responsible equipment manufacturer from Nice with the task of recycling its old outfits and transforming them into sports cups.
For the occasion, NOLT created the rugby outfits for the "Au Cœur des Quartiers" solidarity tournament, which the RCT foundation organizes each year for the benefit of partner clubs in the surrounding area. Rugby shorts and jerseys made from recycled and recyclable polyester, of course.
January 2022 saw the collaboration take an even more significant and meaningful turn. NOLT has imagined and designed an eco-responsible polo shirt, made from organic cotton, for the RCT.
Made in Portugal, this polo features a contemporary, slim fit. The buttons are made from recycled resin, and the labels from recycled polyester and satin. The inks are, as always, non-chemical. Proof that responsible values and modern sportswear can definitely be reconciled.
The operation goes even further. RCT x NOLT is offering each fan the chance to bring in a used sports garment (jersey, shorts, tracksuit, etc.) from a wardrobe and drop it off at a dedicated terminal in the club's boutique in the Mayol shopping center. These sports shirts will then be collected and transformed into cups by NOLT, as part of its R-SHAPE program, winner of the ReFashion competition in 2021.
Responsible values and a circular model that fit perfectly with the brand's sporting DNA. NOLT is thus laying the foundation stone for the development of its eco-responsible sportswear offering.
New products, made from recycled polyester and organic cotton, will be launched soon.
